Nestled on Mallorca's West coast, with far reaching views out over the Mediterranean Sea, flanked by the forested mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana, rests the Béns d’Avall Sunset Villa. A gentle walk down the hill past wild olives, fragrant pines and swaying grasses takes you directly to the jurassic beaches of Alconàsser. Currently the stone villa stands as a beautiful six-bedroom four-bathroom legal, secure home. Originally built in the 1970's, the property later went through a remarkable stone facing operation in 2018, where the beautiful stone façade was crafted.
The new renovation project plans to sensitively transform Sunset Villa into a fresh four-bedroom five-bathroom with a detailed focus on space, light and modern comfort. The beautiful family home will soon have an added touch of architectural elegance, to magnify its natural beauty.
As you walk through the main entrance you are greeted with the spectacular views of the Mediterranean, as natural light floods in through expansive glass sliding doors into the open plan living space. The top floor consists of a flowing, spacious living room, dining room and kitchen, complimented by the breathtaking terrace, partially covered for al fresco dining, and partially open for sun lounging. A private master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and walk in cupboard are found on this floor, as well as a guest bathroom.
Going downstairs to the bottom floor you find three en-suite bedrooms, with outdoor terraces. Two bedrooms have walk in cupboards, the other has a built-in cupboard.
All the bedrooms have windows facing out to the sea and during the end of the day the golden sunlight shines through the rooms. The picturesque home is with sunsets year-round.
The bottom floor has direct access to the exterior where a large garden with a terrace can be found. Relax and enjoy refreshments on the comfortable couches under the pergola. The terrace has an outdoor kitchen area to cook.
The modernised, environmentally conscious Bens d'Avall Sunset Villa, will be fitted with solar powered electricity so that it can have a carbon negative footprint. The solar panels are connected to the main electric grid, allowing any excess energy gained during the day to be sent back to the grid. The property will also have underfloor heating, and air-conditioning.
40 minutes from Palma de Mallorca, Béns d’Avall has the added luxury of being secluded from the busy areas of the island. The Port de Sóller and the quaint town of Deià are less then 10 minute drive away from Béns d’Avall. If you have a boat or intend to get one, Port de Sóller is available for mooring.
Although there is no pool at the Sunset Villa, there is a plan for a private pool to be constructed below the garden terrace.
